After your float to Bear River Park, we will pick you up and shuttle you pack to your house.
What is included and what your should bring
Pickup and drop off at your house or hotel, tube, river booties, and PFD (lifevest). Plan to bring water, snacks, and sunscreen on the river. No GLASS, No Flip-Flops, and No Alcohol. You can leave your towel and change of clothes in our shuttle van.
Best times to go tubing
Your experience will always be better if you schedule your tubing experience earlier than later due to crowds and afternoon thunderstorms. Also, we have limited number of permits to offer daily so they do book out daily, so plan ahead.
Our Permit
The city of Steamboat has been working with local outfitters to insure safety on the river and have allotted more tubing permits in 2025 to have a greater outfitter presence on the Yampa. With that said, our permit requires:
Buy a tube locally (includes $5 fee for Yampa River Management)With your own tube you can put in on the Yampa anywhere from River Creek Park (Walton Creek Road) down to Stockbridge. Note: The farthest take out, easily accessible is Bear River Park, right below James Brown Bridge. If you go this route, please make sure to plan your shuttle and as always, feel free to reach out with questions. You can also book a shuttle for your tubing experience with us.
